Staffing
The project is led by Ruth Leverett who is a qualified teacher with three years full time experience in the classroom, and two years teaching on a supply basis. For the last two years, Ruth has overseen the children and youth work at the Oasis Church and is now a full-time paid member of staff.
We also have a core team of 12 voluntary workers who are dedicated and committed to the project. We put a very high priority on Child Protection and Health and Safety. All our workers are aware of our Child Protection Policy and a copy of this is available on request. They have all signed a declaration and are in the process of being Police Checked. The children are never left on their own.
