How to find us
For the summer holiday season we will be meeting in the evening instead of the morning. There will be time in the evening to worship God together in a more relaxed style than normal. Start time is 7:30pm with refreshments from 7:00pm.
The evening meeting dates will 3rd, 10th, 17th August and then on the 24th we will be at Shuttleworth before resuming in the mornings on 31st August.
We usually meet on Sundays at 10:30am at King Edward VI Grammar School (KEGS) in Broomfield Road, Chelmsford, CM1 3SX and during the week in Small Groups around the area. A map of where we are is below, with directions below that. (On occasions we meet at different times - do check the What's on page!)

By Road
From the South West (Brentwood):
From the A12 northbound leave at junction with A414. After 2.2 miles enter roundabout and take 2nd exit A1114. After 0.1m take first exit off roundabout onto A1016. Follow A1016 for 1.2 miles. You will join and crossover a large junction. Enter from left hand lanes then carry straight on. After lights keep in left hand lane. You will bear to the left after further lights and the school is in the next gateway on your left.
From the South (Billericay):
Take B1007 out of Billericay and follow this across the A12 into Chelmsford. When you get to a large roundabout with a Tesco on your right take the first exit. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto A1016. Follow A1016 for 1.2 miles. You will join and crossover a large junction. Enter from left hand lanes then carry straight on. After lights keep in left hand lane. You will bear to the left after further lights and the school is in the next gateway on your left.
From the East (Maldon & South Woodham Ferrers):
Take A132 out of South Woodham and join the A130 to Chelmsford. At the A12 junction go under the A12 and take the A1114. Then follow * below.
From Maldon take A414. At A12 go straight over onto A1060. At junction with
A1114 take the slip road down to it.
*Continue until the Army & Navy roundabout. If the tidal flyover is open, have fun!, and use it. If not take the third exit off the roundabout. Follow road across 2 roundabouts. When you reach the junction with the A1016 continue on but after the large junction get into the left hand lane. You will bear to the left after further lights and the school is in the next gateway on your left.
From the North (Colchester):
From the A12 southbound leave at Boreham Interchange, which is signposted to Chelmsford. Take 3rd Exit on roundabout and the second exit on the following roundabout onto the A138. After a while move into the middle lane and follow the A138 across a further roundabout, across a set of lights and a further roundabout. At the next roundabout take the 4th exit onto Parkway. Follow across 2 more roundabouts. When you reach the junction with the A1016 continue on but after the large junction get into the left hand lane. You will bear to the left after further lights and the school is in the next gateway on your left.

By public transport:
Bus: Bus services terminate at Chelmsford Bus Station in Duke Street, which is a five minute walk from KEGS. Details from FirstBus.
Rail: Chelmsford railway station is located on the mainline between London Liverpool Street and Ipswich. Just across the road from the bus station, a five minute walk away. Details from National Express East Anglia.
To get to KEGS from the bus/rail stations - walking down Duke Street, away from the railway bridge (so walking under the bridge and past the bus station if you are coming from the train station), take the first second hand turn into Broomfield Road. Walk to the end of the road (by which time the School will be clearly visible), cross at two sets of traffic lights, and you will be directly outside KEGS. Proceed to your right, and enter at the Pedestrian Entrance.
