Welcome to The Oasis Church Chelmsford. We are a group of ordinary people, from many walks of life, who have found that knowing Jesus makes a vibrant difference in our lives...
You will find in these pages details of Who we are and information that will give
you a flavour of our Church. Our main meeting is on Sunday, in the centre of Chelmsford and we draw in people from across Mid-Essex, including Hatfield Peverel, Kelvedon and Maldon. Whether you are a resident or a visitor to our area we would love to meet you! Details of our meetings are on the What's on page and a map to our venue, King Edward VI Grammar School is also available.
If you come from Brentwood or Billericay check out the new church, which is shortly to start in that area.
During the week we meet in Small Groups and triplets, where we can get to know each other better and live out our Christian lives together.
We have many different groups. For example, G-Zone is our kids work in the Melbourne part of Chelmsford and Identity our youth project. Please take a look at these and our other groups and Contact Us if you need more information.
We are part of New Frontiers and members of the Evangelical Alliance.

Summer is here!
For the summer holiday season we will be meeting in the evening instead of the morning. There will be time in the evening to worship God together in a more relaxed style than normal. Start time is 7:30pm with refreshments from 7:00pm.
The evening meeting dates will 3rd, 10th, 17th August and then on the 24th we will be at Shuttleworth before resuming in the mornings on 31st August.
There will also be a number of social activities during August, see your Small Group Leader for details or check out the 'What's On' page.
10th August we’re all going to the Beach at Walton on the Naze from 10.30am till around 4pm. We’ve already got 60 people booked on the community coach from Melbourne! Please come and enjoy the fun, along with watching the occasional baptism!

Green Oasis
No this is not anything to do with Tony Greene!
Can you imagine how many foam cups we get through on a Sunday? Well Paul & Ruth Leverett bring their own mugs! and take them home afterwards to wash. Just imagine how much better this would be for the environment if we all did this............

Why not read the copy in the members part of the Church website instead so not so many have to be printed.......... Let Paul know you are doing this and he will print one less every week........

the nation with God’s
blessing. These are
providing opportunities
to share our values as
a family of churches
and welcome interested
friends, whilst keeping us firmly on a mission footing. We believe
that now is the time to extend these events to more places, so I really
encourage you to be at your local weekend.
