Walton on the Naze

Walton on the Naze CO14

We’re going to Walton on the Naze and recommend the Naze Car Park in Old Hall Lane, Walton on the Naze, CO14 8LJ. Car Parking charges are £4 for up to 4 hours, £5 for all day. The car park is on the cliff top so there are some steps down to the beach.

What’s there?

Beach, green space on the cliff top, nearby tea rooms with snacks and ice creams.

What are we doing?

We want to be relaxed and you can come and go as you please, but we did have a few ideas of some things people might like to do, so we have arranged these for certain times so you know when they are happening!

Arrive from 11am – We will gather in the beach area near the bottom of the steps (from the car park).

12-1pm – Sandcastle competition : let’s get creative and make a great sandcastles with our friends! Everyone can join in with this so bring your bucket and spade and let’s get digging. There’s a prize for the winner, but the best thing is joining in. Judging for this competition will start @1pm.

2pm – Naze Tower trip: Mark and Jo Fletcher are arranging a trip to the Naze Tower which is an historic 86ft landmark and unique visitor attraction situated on an attractive stretch of coastline at Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex. Over eight floors it houses an art gallery with three exhibitions a year, a museum on the Tower and Naze, tea rooms and a roof viewing platform with spectacular panoramic views.

Also at 2pm – Games: Gail Butler will be organising some games for all ages for those of you who want to join in.

Feel free to invite friends and family to join us.
